A Guide to Summer Weddings: Dressing the Bride

With all of the commotion surrounding your wedding, it can seem overwhelming having to decide what to wear to all of your events. Here's a little guide to give you a hand!

Untitled #35

1. For your engagement party, pick something in a silhouette that you know works, whether it's an afternoon BBQ or an upscale cocktail party. If you're still unsure of what to wear, a simple dress with a fitted bodice and A-line skirt is always flattering, $260.

2. Your bridal shower is given in honor of you, so there's no harm in getting a little dressy! However, since there will be a mix of female family members and friends, it's best to remain modest. So, go for something that's beautiful and feminine, but still respectful of your company, 8 GBP.

3. Your last night out as a single gal calls for some festivity! A flirty party dress will do just the trick, $150!

4. Get a little dressier that you normally would for a night out for dinner for your rehearsal dinner. You'll likely be coming from the church or some other venue, so make sure your dress is something A) you feel comfortable standing around in and B) is appropriate for both venues, like this draped jersey dress, $137.50
